Career with an apprenticeship?!
From 1 April 2020, Christopher Oehri will assume the position of Executive Director in Zurich and Schaan and in doing so supplement the current advisory offering in the fields of IT and digitalisation at Grant Thornton Switzerland/Liechtenstein.
Christopher Oehri completed his studies in communication and IT at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur as a qualified engineer FH in 2001 and, following this time, worked for several years at two Big Four companies in both Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Here, he put his in-depth IT knowledge to profitable use in the area of IT audit/risk assurance, allowing him to progress to his most recent position of Director, which saw him oversee the area of trust and transparency within the risk assurance division of a Big Four firm.
As CEO Erich Bucher announced recently in an interview in the Handelszeitung, Grant Thornton Switzerland/Liechtenstein would like to invest further in the area of advisory digitalisation in order to enable it to provide clients with comprehensive support and advice during the digital transformation process. With Christopher Oehri as an adviser in the fields of IT and digitalisation, the company is taking a large step towards achieving this strategic goal. In addition to the provision of consulting services to existing clients, Grant Thornton Switzerland/Liechtenstein plans to tap into new market fields in order to preserve its position as one of the leading audit and consultancy firms.
