Nina Helbling works as a Manager in Regulatory & Compliance Financial Services for Grant Thornton Switzerland/Liechtenstein in Zurich.

Professional experience

Nina’s main responsibilities include assuming the compliance function of asset managers, supporting the compliance function of various banks, advising various financial intermediaries on all financial market law issues, assisting in carrying out internal audits and FINMA investigation mandates, as well as performing project management tasks and conducting regulatory audits of asset managers.

She has several years of professional experience in Swiss financial market law. Before joining Grant Thornton Switzerland/Liechtenstein, Nina was employed at an audit and consultancy company in financial services. She previously worked at the same company in the fiduciary sector and was responsible for the implementation of IT projects, among other things. During her part-time studies, she held the role of junior compliance officer at a Swiss credit card institution.

Professional qualifications and memberships

Nina has a bachelor in law (BLaw) from the University of Zurich.

Languages

In addition to her native German, Nina is business-fluent in English.
