Professional experience
Gesa Mannigel has an extensive track record in international accounting in accordance with IFRS.
With more than 20 years' experience as an auditor in Frankfurt, London, Munich and Zurich, she has gained in-depth knowledge of both the financial services and industrial sectors.
She and her team advise on all aspects of IFRS accounting. This includes the transition to IFRS, the implementation of new IFRS accounting standards and support for complex transactions, including the preparation of accounting memos and manuals.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, she worked for many years in a Big 4 firm, most recently in a management role in the IFRS department.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Gesa Mannigel is a Certified Public Accountant. She studied business administration at the Christian Albrecht University in Kiel.
She is a recognised audit expert by the Swiss Federal Audit Oversight Authority (FAOA) and a member of the institute of Public Auditors in Germany (IDW).
