Professional experience
Daniel Hilbe worked for several years as a credit risk manager at a major Liechtenstein bank and has in-depth knowledge of risk and control systems. In his role as a credit risk manager, he primarily monitored credit risks on the interbank market. He was also the internal point of contact for questions and enhancements concerning system calculations of margin requirements for derivative transactions. He joined Grant Thornton in 2018 and has many years of professional experience in audit and consulting in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
As a mandate manager, he is responsible for banks, payment and e-money institutions, asset management companies, occupational pension schemes and pension funds. Daniel Hilbe also has considerable experience in European banking regulation.
